Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water – Veliko Tarnovo, together with ICMET – Craiova, Romania – partners in strategic project “Joint risk monitoring during emergencies in the Danube area border”, MIS-ETC Code: 166, financed under Romania – Bulgaria Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 organizes seminar on the topic “Air quality in the Danube area border” on 17 May 2013 in Information center of RIEW – Veliko Tarnovo. In the seminar will take part representatives of Executive Environment Agency – Sofia, Bulgaria and Regional Inspectorates within Ministry of Environment and Water – Bulgaria, working in the Danube river basin.
During the seminar, specialists from ICMET – Craiova will present prepared technical report on the air quality monitoring stations in the Danube cross-border area – locations and monitored Indicators. Special attention will be given to web application: “Interactive Map regarding Air Pollution Sources and Air Quality Monitoring Stations in Ro-Bg Cross-Border Area”.
Mr. Varban Ivanov from RIEW – Veliko Tarnovo will present to the participants common procedure for bilateral notification in case of environment pollution, accepted by the ministries of both neighbour countries.
